Retinal Dysplasia

Retinal dysplasia is an eye defect which can affect the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It can be inherited or caused by a viral infection in the bitch before birth.  There are 3 forms of the disorder that a dog can be born with, retinal folds (mild), geographic (covering a larger area) and total detachment (causing blindness)
